This is a prayer that was given by Pastor Self at our annual church picnic.  It was a fun day with lots of food and fellowship, but first and foremost we went to the Throne.

Just about every women's magazine has at least one article on decluttering.  You would think by now, we would all have it down pat.  Apparently, no so. 

Before we focus on yet another way to sweep the floors, do the laudry, and cook the meals, let's ask God to declutter our lives from things that displeasing to Him.
"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Psalm 139:23 - 24 KJV

So many people are talking about having a makeover of some sort - whether hair, clothes, body, house - you name it, new and improved is what we want.  seems like we ought to be talking about a spiritual makeover, too.
